In 2009, after many weeks of grumbling about fate mocking and providing Legendary Items with laughable legacies on them, Valyre decided to take control over fate and utilize the size of our kinship to everyone’s advantage. At Gonz's urging, he put together the system outlined below where hopefully members of TBPO could acquire legendary items they wanted with less hassle for all involved. Here’s the way it would work. The issue with sharing LI’s between folks is that oftentimes, if someone has never played another type of class, they have no idea what is good in terms of legacies, and so might deconstruct a great LI for another class without having any knowledge. So, to combat this, everyone will post their dream LI here; i.e. what kind of LI they’re looking for, then when people read the thread, they can make a mental note and check LIs they find against the ones listed here. Here is the suggested format for posting LI “Applications.”
LI Type: (Either a specific weapon type eg 1h Axe or a range of items eg 1h axe/sword or write Any, in which case this characteristic isn’t important).
LI Age: 1st/2nd/3rd
LI Level: 51-55, 57+, etc
Legacy1: Specify Legacy and Tier (ie Glory Dmg Bonus, Tier 5/6 if there is a range, or tier 4+ if 4 5 or 6 is what you want)
Legacy2: Same as above
Legacy3: Same as above
A few notes to clear things up. If two people end up filling out a LI application that is similar/identical, it seems like a first come first serve rule should apply, will leave to discretion of individual finding the dream weapons and their conscious. This was a terrific idea 3 years ago, unfortunately it was posted to a forum, no response was received, no feedback, and the item was forgotten and the forum fell into disuse. Then one day a scholar (Leerond by name) was sorting through old manuscripts and came across this gem and opted to resurrect. I realize that by now, many of you have found your weapon of choice and are no longer in a search mode, but that is probably not the case for everyone....soooooo, if you are in the market and wish to take the time, simply fill in the data in one of the forms below and post to the Wiki here along with your character name....then sit back and await results......hopefully it won't be another two years before someone finds and sends you a "precious" for your birthday!
Below are the completed and blank forms, fill in the next empty form, if you find only one blank form, before you start, highlight and copy the 7 lines to include NAME/class and the dotted line and paste below the last blank one, then fill in the blanks on the one above the one you just pasted. Open the page for editing by selecting the pad w/pencil in the upper right hand corner, edit and include your data, and then hit save page at the bottom.
